NIT DE L'art - 2026
On Nit de l’Art, Palma follows its curiosity.
Thousands of people move from gallery to gallery, drawn by the crowd, a glimpse through an open door, or the hope of finding something they did not expect. The streets hum with conversation; inside, someone stops before a work and grows quiet. As an artist, I love that change of pace. A work made in the solitude of a studio meets a city in motion and finds its way into someone else’s imagination. That night, I exhibited at Anomalie alongside Joan Pol and Patrick Guino. Joan’s paintings draw us through colour and layered surfaces into landscapes somewhere between place and feeling. Patrick’s marble bends, opens and rises, allowing light and empty space to become part of the sculpture. In my mixed-media works, fragments, numbers, glass and found materials form a language for questions about time, humanity and our place in the world. Our works speak in different ways. Visitors moved between them, finding their own connections and stopping wherever something held their attention.Anomalie was not part of the official programme, yet people found us and continued to arrive until late.By morning, the streets had settled and Nit de l’Art was over. Then a man came back to Anomalie. He was leaving Mallorca for his home country, but before he went, he wanted to see once more the artwork he had fallen in love with the night before. The work had stayed here, still and silent. Whatever had begun between them the night before was not finished.Next year, same place, same time!
