LOST COSMOS

2015

Haven’t you woken up one day from a dream where you were lost in the vastness of space or felt like being a wandering soul lost in the immensity of the universe?

I have… a few times… I was all alone, lost in this eternal field, of dark and light, vibrant ceremonial colours of unknown galaxies.. I wandered, drifting, like a spirit cut off from the chaotic humanity into a void of infinity. Or was I?

With “lost Cosmos” I wanted to create a piece which would present the particularity of being animated depending of the position of the viewer. I used the lenticular technology or also called 3D moving imagery to create 528 individual little frames with the aim to recreate a lost dream.. my lost cosmos..

Each panel is 42 cm x 42 cm x 5 cm.
