Introducing my latest work White Garden and my exploration into the achromatic colour and all the possibilities it offers.
White garden is the fruit of my contemplation and fascination with light and movement and their dominance over matter.
Guided by these notions as well as the unique interactive experience had by the viewer, I aim to facilitate these key components in my work.
I wanted to create a work which, once exhibited would present an infinite and variable dance of light and shadows. These shadows or ghosts matter as I like to think of them become the principal actor in the whole viewing experience.
They manifest and vanish depending on the angle of the light and acquire their dynamism and energy from a critical interaction with the viewer;
White garden is made of multifaceted components on a white canvas and reflected light and shadows.
